GENERAL DISPOSALS
THE FOUNDATION
FOR PROMOTING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (further named THE
FOUNDATION) is formed as a Romanian juridical person with private law,
nongovernmental, nonpolitical, nonprofit, impartial, independent and with no
patrimonial purpose, for promoting Information and Communication Technology in
all Romanian social environments.
THE FOUNDATION is formed for an
undetermined period of time, starting with the acquiring of the juridical
status.
The location of THE FOUNDATION is in
Romania, Constanta, 15 TIMISANA Street.
THE PURPOSE AND THE
OBJECT OF THE FOUNDATION
The purpose of THE FOUNDATION is promoting Information and Communication
Technology in all Romanian social environments.
The General Objectives of THE FOUNDATION
are:
a. Promoting
of the information exchange in the Information
and Communication Technology field and in new science and engineering
teaching principles and methods, between educational environments, national and
foreign companies and organizations, as well as between all of the above and
other Romanian social environments.
b. Promoting
academic exchange between national and foreign educational environments, as well
as between them and national and foreign companies willing to found nonprofit
partnership for a better knowledge of modern technologies.
c. Creating a frame of Recognizing the ICT Romanian performances.
d. Setting up an institution for studying the
Information and Communication Technology
field.
For accomplishing those objectivities and short term priorities, expressed
through the Director Council resolutions, THE FOUNDATION whishes to
support activities as the following:
a. Setting
up courses, conferences, seminaries, oral examinations, workshops, study groups,
on permanent or temporary basis, generally all kind of learning activities;
b. Offering
scholarships and grants for those activating in the
Information and Communication Technology field, from both educational
environment and other Romanian social environments;
c. Publishing
scientific and cultural works;
d. Promoting,
accomplishing and supporting any other activities related to the mentioned
purpose of promoting in all Romanian social environments.
e. Setting
up and managing an institution for studying the Information and Communication
Technology field.
